Web definitions vary, but the tamer definition, suitable for this article, for BILF is an acronym for Boomers I’d Like to Fondle. Not all that long ago, 40 was considered to be way over-the-hill. However, with the discovery that diet combined with exercise is indeed the fountain of youth, not only is 40 the new 30, 50 is the new 40 and 60 is the new 50!
How does a person qualify for BILF status? According to the U.S. Census Bureau, a Baby Boomer is anyone born in the post WW ll baby boom from 1946-1964. So, they must be over 47-years-old, famous, powerful in some sense and very, very attractive.
And Without Further Ado, We Present our Choice for BILFs of the week:
Bill Clinton: There was a birthday card circulating a few years ago with a picture of a very youthful, very plain Bill and Hillary Clinton that said, “Some things get better with age”. That is most definitely true with the 62-year-old 42nd president of the United States. Should it be any wonder he got into trouble with the ladies? Not only have his looks gone from geek to god, he has power and money. The triple combo packs a punch that a nun would find difficult to resist!
Susan Lucci: The diminutive Susan Lucci, aged 64, is said to be the highest paid daytime actress in television. Since she stepped into the role of Erica Kane on the set of All My Children on January 5, 1970 at the age of 23, she has done the impossible–hooked the audience for forty years and running. She is as beautiful today as she was back then and her popularity isn’t waning. There’s a reason her character, Erica Kane, on the popular soap hasn’t been phased out or killed off and has instead been married ten times. She’s honed Erica Kane into an irreplaceable, mouth-watering temptress who makes promiscuity seem as acceptable as coffee with cream.
Denzel Washington: The tall, dark and handsome 56-year-old actor first made us stand up and take notice of him on television’s St. Elsewhere, which led to Hollywood and superstardom. His almond eyes, perfect chocolate complexion and perfectly symmetrical features prompted his co-star in the Pelican Brief, Julia Roberts to remark, “Referring to Denzel Washington as simply sexy is like saying Ernest Hemmingway was a good fisherman.” Enough said?
Kim Bassigner: Born in Athens, Georgia, the tall, lithe Southern Belle made her first splash as a runway model gracing the covers of fashion magazines and ads throughout the 1970s. After taking some acting classes she moved to the West Coast, appeared in some television shows, until finally reaching fame as a Bond girl in Never Say Never Again (1983). She went on to become a Golden-globe nominee for her work in The Natural (1984) and an Oscar for L.A. Confidential (1997). The rest so they say is history. With her girlish figure, un-lined forehead and thick, cascading locks, this 57-year-old bombshell rivals women decades younger.
